In order to address the needs of companies in the metal-mechanical transformation sector in terms of training in technical areas, AFMEC is launching the second edition of the IMH Virtual Classroom on machining. This is a series of 17 virtual training courses, most of which are technical in nature, based on the training needs conveyed by the associate businesses.
The Virtual Classroom enables workers to attend lectures remotely, without the need to travel. The goal is for any company to be able to receive technical training of interest to our sector no matter where it is located.
Training is conducted by IMH (www.imh.eus), the educational campus of AFM Cluster, which specialises in advanced and digital manufacturing and has a large portfolio of technical training courses. The 2021 edition of the virtual classroom offered 5 courses. This has been expanded to 17 courses in 2022 and new courses considered of interest for the sector will be added in the future. The training activities organised for 2022 are as follows:
Details of each course (dates, times, costs, goals and contents) can be found at the following link: VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LEAFLET
Course duration is between 9 and 40 hours. At least 8 students will be required to attend each course. The number of students per course will be between 8 and 12. All the training courses can receive bonuses for Social Security contributions through FUNDAE.
