In 1979, brothers Marcelino and Juan José Rafael González founded Rectificados Tamarraf, a company dedicated to engine rebuilding, machining, maintenance services, repair, and technical assistance to mechanical workshops and the industry in general. Ten years later, the effort and talent of the Rafael family made it possible to open a new company, Faymasa, with the aim of responding to the growing demand for engineering and machining services that had been identified in the metalworking sector.
