27 June, 2023Mecánica Brañosera took advantage of the summer to undertake some new investments, completing its modern and powerful CNC machinery with up to 5 and 6 controlled axes, while also setting up a processes department, in order to adapt its systems to UNE EN 9100.
To increase the capacity and improve security in operations involving rotations of large parts, they have just installed a JASO 20/10 Tn two-rail Gantry Crane with two elevations, as well as two Jaso 5Tn jib cranes for quick machinery loading. Together with these new lifting systems, a third pneumatic screwing system has been put in place, increasing off-machine screwing capabilities to M60, enabling more hours of machining by the milling machines.
With the aim of increasing welding capacities, this year 4 machines have been incorporated with different technologies, including two modern 2000W welding machines for special reloads and low-heat precision welding, and also for cleaning rust and surface coatings:
- LINCOLN ELECTRIC Speedtec 500SP high-efficiency pulse welder
- FRONIUS TIG MagicWave 230i EF especially for TIG welding
- XT Laser 2000W with 3 heads (welding, cleaning and cutting)
